Off my post, just to be complete, there's Camberwell, Richmond, The Basin, but not Shepperton.

Ha! It was real then!

I thought I felt the couch shake about 10 minutes ago, but Andrew didn't notice anything, so I assumed it was one of those weird tiredness hallucinations/sensations one gets.

ETA - I'm in Coburg, incidentally

Oooh, scary. I've had two earthquakes in places I've lived, but both times I was out of town when it happened.

Um, it was really no where near Geelong... it was in Korumburra, which is on the opposite side of Melbourne. It was quite strong and long in Cranbourne, quite cool actually, but only because the house didn't fall down.

Jacqui was convinced it was just a possum in the roof, until I pointed out that our house is on a slab and no animal is going to shake the floor. She's used to her parents place by the coast which is on short stilts and rocks when people move around heavily upstairs...

Felt it really strongly here in Koo Wee Rup. Alister thought it was a truck, until I pointed out that trucks don't generally take nearly half a minute to go past. And that it would have to be a freaking huge truck to shake a house on a concrete slab from two streets away. At 9pm.
