SuperX++ and o:XML

hmm, I wonder if the speed penalty will be slight enough that building a system in one of these languages would be still viable, especially if it is the kind of system where agents move as objects from one server to another. This could mean that the actual environment could be very lightweight - just some code that parses xml and then executes the object methods encoded in the xml (no need for a .net style framework or any other transportable bytecode language - everything totally transparent for debugging) and keep all the application logic in the xml classes passed with the objects.
