A Challenger Appears: Google's O3D

Hot on the heels of Mozilla/Khronos' attempt to embed OpenGL in firefox comes the release of Google's 2 year effort to make a 3d plugin for web browsers.

Their api is higher level than OpenGL, making most of the decisions for you.

Well, I've spent $120 and I think I can last a 10 day lock down. Let's hope it doesn't come to that.

I'm not sure how well prepared my housemates are I'll have to remember to ask them some time. One of them is worried about a brother who is traveling to mexico to do gigs as part of a band on tour.

So far victorians have been good about going to hospital if they were on the same flight as the infected.
